07 Jan 04 Mexican planetarium installs Digistar The first planetarium in Mexico to feature an Evans & Sutherland Digistar 3 SP projection system has opened in Merida.
Merida is situated on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, birthplace of the Mayan civilisation, and is close to well-known archaeological sites such as Chichen-Itza and Uxmal.
