Weightplan has launched an iPhone app called Gymcodes to provide instant machine-specific gym mobile tuition.
Weightplan is working with gyms chains in the UK, USA and Canada to install QR labels on their gym equipment as part of the project.
The app user scans the label on a piece of gym equipment and the app supplies details about exercises for that machine.
It is designed to provide targeted exercise options, videos and guides and has a function to record workouts to sync with Weightplan.com’s online fitness and nutrition site.
