Star Trac’s belt driven Spinner bike is to launch in the UK at a new, independent club. Fitness Hub UK in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, will open on 7 September with 15 of the Spinner NXT Black Belt bikes, as well as a range of Star Trac cardio equipment.
The bikes combine a Poly-V belt with Star Trac’s patent pending drive train and pedal system, which it says exceeds industry standards for group cycles. The bikes include the same ergonomics, biomechanics and safety and reliability standards as the rest of the company’s Spinner product line.
The 5,000ft2 Fitness Hub UK club aims to offer its members first class facilities, including CrossFit studios and classes, cutting edge technology and bespoke functional fitness. Owners Michael Draper and Tim Lloyd said they intended to expand the facility in the future.
